Celebrate the lagoon on Ouvéa!
The sixth Ouvéa Lagoon Festival will take place from 14-16 June 2013 in Mouli tribal village on Ouvéa. The Ouvéa lagoon, registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is a real sanctuary for exceptional fauna including coral, fish (manta rays, sharks, humphead Maori wrasse, etc.) and turtles and also constitutes a traditional fishing reserve wisely managed by the inhabitants. It is given pride of place for a weekend at Mouli, on the island’s prettiest beach.
